20. Panthers travel to Oakland

Pre-game

I have heard that the Oakland Raider fans are some of the scariest and best in the league, and that really excites me. The Raiders have not had too much to cheer about the last few seasons but with their rookie Darren McFadden, they will certainly improve on the ground.

The Panthers just missed out on a playoff spot last year and will want to win on the road. However with McFadden and Jamarcus Russell and the loud hostil crowd it is not going to be easy for the Panthers. 

I will have driven in from Washington D.C a week ago, so although I may well be tired I'm sure the Raiders fans will wake me up!

Great to have met you at the tailgate and pitchside. Although the result wasn't memorable I hope us Raider fans were. This is the 4th year we have traveled to a Raiders game and the fans are the best in the world. Good luck with the rest of the tour, I will be staying in touch.

Adam, great to meet with you at the Raiders tailgate, give them Broncos hell from us all in Ilford (Redbridge)and go Raiders, regards Keith Smith , the 'Crusader Raider' London, England.

It was a pleasure to have met you at the game. I am still in awe of the stones it took to actually do this. I hope you were treated well in Oakland outside of our tailgate and hopefully we will get to see you again some day.

Enjoy the game! By the way, the stadium has been called McAfee Coliseum for a few years now, not Network Associates. I like how you have a winning record at home games, we will need that luck brought to us in Oakland for sure vs the Panthers. Have fun, love reading your trip reviews!

As UK Raiders fans who go out to Oakland each year, we would say to start the RAIDERNATION experience off on the Saturday night, you need to visit the home of the Raidernation - Ricky's in San Leandro http://www.rickys.com/index.cfm.
The place is full of Raiders fans, and you will see most of the well known costumed fans there as well as live music from Raiderhed, and usually ex-players are in attendance.
